I have some blue prints in my future. I divided my goal into three parts, including short, medium, and long term objective. The objective of my short term, I would like to have a job at Din Tai Fung restaurant Inc. This dines out place won great renown for small steamed buns. Work in this restaurant is very tired but very well pay. In my country, the annual salary of teen is $14,400. The annual salary of this company is $20,000 for teenage. But you need to do swing shift when you start work at this restaurant, it might even take twelve hours to finish your work. In addition, it is very famous dine out place for tourists, particular in Japan and Hong Kong/Macao people. Thus, if you would like to apply this position, you needs to speak foreign language fluently so as to communicate with customer and explained the feature of this cuisine for the tourists. Thus, the other advantage of this job can practice my language skills when I enter this restaurant. In addition, this job is related to the major of my master degree. Therefore, I would like to apply this job when I go back to my home country. The objective of my medium term, I am going to get the second master degree at University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. I am interested in stock and property. Thus, I would like to study the business at this school due to its reputation and outstanding academic achievement. The goal of my long term, I am going to be a tour escort because it can make me travel around world for free. In addition, I think the tour leader need to a lot of knowledge to interpretation the history and culture to the tourists. It is difficult for me to explain the tourism attractive for the audience right now. Although I have had a tour guide and tour leader license already. But I think it is not suitable for me to be a tour leader right now, because I need to more training to speak in public and have good language skills to elucidate the attraction at the destination. Thus, it is my final goal in my future. By the way, I would like to invest the stock and currency to achieve the finance freedom in my whole life because it is my hobby in my free time.
Hi, everyone! Haw is your weekend? Kuo-Hung, I was really able to read your journal comment. It was interesting. By the way, the topic of the journal 6, dream of future, is what I often ask and be asked. I have a very clear target in my future that I want to become a movie producer. I think many people are not sure the differences between producers and directors. If I roughly tell you about the difference, director’s job is an art section and producer’s job is a business section. Therefore, director usually concentrates making a film as much as possible and do not care about money. On the other hand, producer always care about money because producer has to management budget. But if producer were too stingy, the movie would become a suck movie. As a result, director has to have outstanding sense of creating films, and producer has to have perfect balance between artists and businessmen. In my case, I want to work as a producer in future. The reason why I want to be a producer is quite simple because I love movies including making films, and studying business. Therefore, the job of producers has my two lovely things. But honestly saying, getting a job that relates movie industries, is happy enough for me. I just love movies, so if I work as a movie businessman, I am so satisfied. But hopefully I want to work in American movie companies at Hollywood for around 20 years, and then I will go back to Japan and want to help development of the Japanese movie industry.
My dream is to get a job and get married in the future. First, getting job is very important for me, because I study at university to get a job in the future. Also, I want to become independent and be getting a responsibility through getting a job. My parents help me a lot for school, study abroad and all things that I want to do. I need to money for all these things and I give my parents trouble with a lot of money, so I want to become independent and getting a responsibility through getting a job to show my gratitude to my parents. Also, I want to get a job for my interest. My major is English in Japan and also I came here to learn English, so I want to use English for my job in the future. Recently, people who can speak English is not special and it is normal, so my major is useful in the future, but also it is disadvantage thing more than people who can speak English and also study other major. I think hunting job is very difficult, but I want to work, learn and show my gratitude to my parents as I said through getting a job. Second, I want to get married as I wrote in journal #6. I want to get married with person who I really love and spend my life with that person. Also, I want to get children and I want to everything for my children as I can. I it is possible, I want to continue to work after get married or get children.
My dream is the same, Satsuki. I want to get a job and get married. To be honest, I don’t still decide my dream clearly. But I like my hometown, Ishikawa prefecture, and I like communicating with the people with using the dialect. So I want to work at my hometown. However recently, I noticed that I like communicating with people in the world, because I like listening to stories of person, and I was aware that I was interested in listening to many people’s opinions. Also I want to get work to associate with people in the world. And another dream is that I want to get married with person I like. Of course I want to continue my job. Actually, I wish I can finally live with the partner happily.

Three years ago, I used to work in Oil company then I was thinking, why not to complet studying Petroleum Engineer in abroad because my job required me to speak and write in English. Also, that need more understand about all materials of the job. I hope to get the same job that I had. Although the career is hard, but I am looking for higher position at department that I had in the future. unfortunately, my major now is business administration and management, but it was not include my dream because the government changed my major. In another hand, I have experience about Petroleum. My dream now is getting a job near to my n town.
My dream is almost same as Satsuki's and Marika's. I want to get a job and get married and manage to these at the same time in the future. I want to work hard after I graduate my university because I like to talking with many people. I like children, so I want to have my children inthe future. I know it is not easy to keep up work and housework. I guess I can make a lot of time to meet others, and it is better for me and to continue my job when a baby born to me. I know If I resign from my job to housework, I should regret to it, because It become my everything to look after my baby. I want to succeed in my job and be respected by my children. This is my dream.

I like Kuo-hung’s style like a short-term object, middle-term object and long-term object, and it’s also my style too. I always set different stage of aims or dreams in my life, and I now have two main dreams in my life: to be a director and to be a teacher.
To begin with, my first stage of dream is to be a film director. I have seen a lot of movies so far, and during my college days, I have made some by myself. I strongly believe that people are greatly influenced by the movie’s message, and it has so strong a power that encourages people to overcome difficulty and to live. That’s why I want to be director, and I want people to make happy. In other word, I want to contribute to the society through my film.
Moreover, my next stage of dream is that I want to be teacher after getting the skill of making films. All of my interest of film came from just a little tiny book “Media Literacy”, written by Akiko Sugano. When I was high school student, I read this book as just homework. It was written about a film study. In U.S. or some other Europe countries, film study is a famous subject for the high school students or university students. On the other hand, the film study wasn’t popular in Japan, and I had never heard such film study. Thus, I don’t have an interest of film study before I read it. However, I was impressed after reading the book “Media Literacy,” and I was interested in film study even though I didn’t know it well. That’s why I made film by myself. During filming in university, I realized to make film is useful for logical think because a good story always needs coherence. I believe filming is beneficial to student’s education, and this is just the book said. Therefore, I want to create film study school in Japan. All in all, I would like to know film study and to make sure my dream clearly in here.
Hi, this is Shogo. In my opinion, I want to be public worker like city worker in my home town. I have one older brother. He is public worker, so he is working in my hometown. Working in his hometown’s city hall means that he doesn’t have to lend apartment, he can go his place of work from his home. Generally speaking, in Japan, The income of city worker is not good, but not bad. In my opinion, the salary is enough money if you don’t have to spend money for lending apartment or commuter pass. My brother, for instance, he spends his money for his hobby, for guitars and other equipments. I think he is really enjoying his life, but I haven’t absolutely decided to be pubic worker honestly. I think public worker is one of the good job for me, but there are a lot of choice in the society; therefore, to be honest, I’m thinking of my dream now.

In the future I want to be a good businessmen and work as I want. If you work as you want and nobody will be up to you and will order you do this do that it will be great and I don't like that. To be businessmen its not easy and If I will be a businessmen I want bring a new equipment from other countries like USA and sell it cheaper because a lot of businessmen they are bringing all of equipment old one new one it doesn't matter which one but they will selling it very expensive. For that reason I want to bring to people equipment, clothes, technical things, furniture and other things which it will be possible for me and I will bring them to my country and sell it cheaper Inshaallah. Of course we are taking about the dreams and futures. To be a businessmen its not easy in our days you must have a diploma after that you can start you business. Before some years it was not like this "If you can bay and sell something you could and of course after some years work you could come a big businessmen". But not now. In our days at the first I need to finish some University on accounting and management and maybe Inshaallah I can be a businessmen. I chose and I like this profession from my childhood because this profession came from our prophet Muhammad (s.a.) and he had this profession and I want reach my dreams and become a big businessmen in the future. Inshaallah I will get this profession and Inshaallah If Allah will be agree I will reach it.
