Hi, I'm Kento. I am sorry everyone for being late. This week, my question is "How will the world change 100 years later?" Now, people have many problems like Global Warming, War, Political problem, or engendered species. Will thees problem solve? or not? What do you imagine about the world in 2111?
Why do people study about history? I think that the reason is that history tells us future. I mean that when people want predict future, they are find hints from history. Therefore, I want predict people’s life style and nature in 2111 by this 100 years (1911~2011). During the 100 years, people’s life style have dramatically changed and developed; therefore, I guess life style will unbelievably develop. For example, many people can go to opposite side of the earth less than a day because of the investigation of aircraft. In addition, humankind was successful going to universe and walking on the moon. As a result, I think that lots of new husbands and wives will go to the moon as their honeymoon. Moreover, the set of the movie Avatar was as the world in 2154: it was 145 years later from presentation of Avatar. The movie was a kind of James Cameron’s prediction of future. I agree with the movie because his prediction was that science will amazingly improve, but people will never develop. I’m really looking forward to the developing of science. On the other hand, unfortunately, I think that natural situation of the earth will become worse. I think people must not misunderstand that ecology like saving natural resource or reducing CO2 is not for earth; it’s for people. I want to mean that saving natural resource or reducing CO2 makes confortable environment for mankind, and earth made it spending an extremely long time. However, people have broken the environment. In addition, breaking the environment has already become unstoppable, so nobody can stop it. Therefore, I guess the natural environment in 2111 will be much harder than current condition. For instance, several islands will definitely sink under the sea because of raising the sea level, and patients of skin cancer will increase caused by ozone depletion. Recovering natural environment need a long time same as time of constructing a right environment by the earth. In conclusion, people achieved to realize a lot of imagination such as a computer, Internet, mobile phone, space shuttle, and supersonic aircraft in these 100 years, and I believe people will realize other many ideas which haven’t realized yet like a time machine in next 100 years. Furthermore, I hope the natural environment of the earth will better than now.
Hi there, this is Shogo. In my opinion, I think there will be two big changing in the future. The first one is the changing the weather. For example, the temperature will be changed because of the earth. I don’t think only CO2 causes global warming. In the long history, the earth have repeated to change the environment before human start to exist. If people can decrease amount of CO2, the global warming will be keeping, but this is my opinion. As the temperature will be changing, the famine will be happen all over the world. Some plagues will spread also. Another one is international relations. I mean that in the future, the big war will occur like WW3. Even now, most countries have big problem in their economics. The last big war was caused by the great depression. The new war may happen tomorrow. Only God knows the future. However, human can learn from their history. We may avoid the war as soon as possible. I hope so.
It is difficult question for me because I’ve never thought about changing the world 100 years later. I think world will be change gradually for bad side but also good side. First, there are many bad problems in the world. I agree with Kento and Syogo’s opinion. There are many environment problems such as grobal warming and destruction of forests in the world. If people will effort to improve these problems, it’ll be better. However, there are limit to improve it, so I think environmental problems will develop for bad side. I also think that global warming might be developed 100 years later. Now these problems become more serious. Actually, we can experience these problems, for example there are desertification and flood as abnormal weather. However, I think if almost of all people in the world make much effort to prevent for global warming, these problems could be fairly solved. Another world change is that I hope every country will get along each other, because now there are many conflict between countries. Moreover I hope they will cooperate in solving many problems that will be still left around the world. In conclusion, I hope the world will be changed in better directions.
I think the earth in 2111 will not suitable for human beings. An example is that we are adding 75 to 80 million people a year. According to the report from the United Nations Population Fund, it is indicated that the population of world could grow to 15 billion by 2100. When we reach the 2111, the globe is too much population to live in this space. I think the population growing rapidly because there are excellent medical treatments to increase the life expectancy in western countries. On the contrary, there are high birthrates in the developing countries because people in the third world countries did not have the knowledge of practice birth control. The experts also point out that the earth was entering a dangerous new phase due to the population booming. The most important example is that the population booming led to the war of energy and food. First, the population growths cause the demand of energy. Therefore, the war of energy cause the world in which the U.S. and Europe are addicted to oil and gas, those power countries will launch more war to get the energy because its rare resources. Second, the developing countries face the starved due to its lower income. For instance, the growing of population causes the starving for some area, especially in high birthrates in Africa, Asia, and Latin American. I think the government will launch the war due to the lack of food. In short, I think the war for energy and food will happened in the future, because the human beings will growth rapidly year by year. In addition, the high birthrate causes the demand for food and energy resource.

Above all, I strongly believe people are going to rely on robots that take care of people instead of actual people, and there are several reasons. Firstly, the environment problem will cause a demand of humanoid. Recently, our societies have depended on a lot of chemical and metal products such as cars, foods and medicines. As a result, these chemical or metal products have an effect on our health because such products are not natural for environment and emit bad gasses. Then, our nature and human bodies, especially our sex organs, will be destroyed. For instance, in Japan, people suffer from radioactive contamination because of an accident of nuclear power plant in Fukushima prefecture. Thus, Japanese people use robots to remove this radioactivity. In 2111, we will use more robots to restore good environment because we will destroy our environment than ever. Secondly, an aging society will cause a demand of robots. A decline in the number of children will happen in developed countries. Therefore, humanoids, a robot looking like human being, will be needed in house and business because of fewer workforces. For example, Japan will reach an aging society by 2060 because the population of children will be decreasing, and the generation of the second baby-boom period, after World War II, will reach old age. The aging society, a fewer workforce situation, will demand the new workforce instead of fewer children. Consequently, robots will take care of old people and become new worker around the world. Finally, resource problems will affect to the demand of robots. The nature resource of the Earth such as the gas, the coal and the oil will disappear in future because people use a lot of resources to develop their society and technology. Then people will invent the robots that bring new resource from other planets like Moon or Mars. All in all, people will use robots than ever in terms of several problems: environment, population and resource.

First, I think there will be more desert in the world 100 years later than now because I think the problem of global warming will not be able to be solved. There are a lot of solutions of global warming now, but does everyone think about them seriously? I think most people do not do their best in terms of dealing with global problem. I think the problem cannot be solved without the cooperation of people all over the world because there is nobody who relates to global warming. Second, I think there are still a lot of wars 100 years later because it is said that people tend to repeat same bad things. As far as people have desire, wars cannot be disappeared. Third, I think political problem will not be solved because people who have political problems are isolated from the world. They do not try to spread their horizons, so they cannot change their mind. However, I think people will be able to live more long time in the future than now because a lot of technologies will be invented. For example, the way of operations will be improved, so if people have serious disease, they can be cured. I cannot imagine the world of 100 years later, but I think if new problems are occurred, people will be able to deal with them.
To be honest nobody knows about it except GOD. From the other hand we can guess from our experiences like when I was four years old we didn't have computers even we didn't know how it is look like same as hand phone and cars. In my country just 20 years ago people went to their relatives by walk even their relatives houses were very far like 140 klm, and they didn't have a car for this reason they walked so long distances. Same as hand phones and computers just 20 years ago in my country they used latter because they didn't have phones or computers. So the main point is in that, the human life is moving fast and look in our modern life people will not go to their relatives by walk because they have cars they will go to their relatives by cars. Same as with phone and computer, for example, 20 years ago people used latter but now who will use it because they have phones they can call them to know about their health and to know how they are its not a big deal the big is computers people use it from the other side of the to see other side. So they can just seat at home and see the world like seating at home and traveling.Who knows maybe after 100 years humanity will make the car which will fly and the Plans will be not need for people or how Asian people are saying like "If the life will continue like this we can go to Mars by walk".
